"Now that i am older, i see. When my dad would wake up every morning before we were up,to go to work and come back sometimes late when we would have already fallen asleep, i thought he was too busy for us.
Mom would always be the one that then took care of us, cook us food and pack our bags, when this all was happening right before my eyes, i always thought its because dad didn't care enough. Alas, now i know, for every of those days, we could not see him, he was pushing to get us through school and even college. Now each time i come back to that small little house we lived in, my kids are often surprised. Deep in my heart i understand and know, all the sacrifices he made. During this father's day, i am also giving back, in appreciation.
With the help of Amani Construction, i am finishing off the house, my dad could not finish because he had to take us through school and college. I would like for him to know that i understand and really appreciate him. .
