GOD NEEDS WATCHMEN NOT WATCHDOGS !!!

“I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,”
— Isaiah 62:6 (KJV)

BEWARE OF WATCHDOG MINISTRIES !!!

There is no place for a watchdog ministry in the body of Christ! Just the watchman (intercessor) ministry!

A watchman stands in the gap for the church. A watchdog searches for faults, weaknesses, stumblings and errors in men of God.

A watchman trusts on the divinity and grace of the God of man. A watchdog preys upon the humanity of the men of God.

A watchman is a covering! A watchdog is an exposer!

A watchman has his back on the church and his eyes on the enemy! A watchdog has his back on the enemy and his eyes on the church!

A watchman troubleshoots! A watchdog fault finds!

A watchman covers the minister's back! A watchdog attacks from behind!

A watchman is a disciple! A watchdog is a Pharisee!

A watchman is gracious! A watchdog is legalistic!

A watchman is an asset! A watchdog is a liability!

BOTTOMLINE: The watchman ministry is the wheat of God. The watchdog ministry is the tare of the devil.

ARE YOU A WATCHMAN OR WATCHDOG?

With respect to media sites, blogs, broadcast that specialize in digging into the faults, pitfalls, and character flaws of the servants of God...

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH (not the human side of the ministers of truth). BUT SHUN PROFANE AND VAIN BABBLINGS: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. (2 Tim 2:15-16)

“The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.” (Ps118:22-23)

ENDURE & CONQUER REJECTION !!!

Not through war but through peace, patience, longsufferance, perseverance & self control...

Resist the spirit of rejection and it will flee...

Never allow rejection to get the better of you...

Understand. acknowledge, be conscious of and affirm who you are in Christ...

You are loved in Christ..
You are the beloved, not the rejected of God...

Let the builders reject you in their schemes, God will lift you up and position you as the chief cornerstone...

The devil means it for harm but God uses it for good...

GOD'S GLORY IS YOUR COVERING !!!

1. MAN WAS CREATED IN GLORY !!!

What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY and honour. (Ps 8:4-5)

2. MAN LOST THAT GLORY WHEN HE SINNED !!!

“For all have sinned, and COME SHORT OF THE GLORY of God;” (Rom 3:23)

3. CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS TO RESTORE US TO GREATER GLORY !!!

“And the GLORY WHICH YOU GAVE ME I HAVE GIVEN THEM; that they may be one, even as we are one:” (Jn 17:22)

So, you were given the GLORY of Christ !!!

“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, IN BRINGING MANY SONS INTO GLORY, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” (Heb 2:10)

So, you have been brought into GLORY !!!

“Moreover whom he did predestinate, these he also called: and whom he called, these he also justified: and WHOM HE JUSTIFIED, THESE HE ALSO GLORIFIED.” Rom 8:30)

So, not only are you justified, YOU ARE GLORIFIED !!!

THE GLORY OF THE FIRST ADAM WAS A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS'. OURS IS THE GLORY OF CHRIST. IT IS A GREATER GLORY!

4. AS YOU FOCUS ON CHRIST, YOU ARE TRANSFROMED IN GLORY !!!

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are CHANGED INTO THE SAME IMAGE FROM GLORY TO GLORY, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Cor 3:18)

MY PRAYER: You are glorified! You have been brought into glory. WALK IN GLORY, in all you are (person), all you have (possession) and all you do (practice). May the Glory fill and overshadow you as the waters cover the seas !!!

NEVER LOSE HOPE !!!

1. Hope is the anchor for your soul! Without hope, your soul is bound to drift in the turbulences of this life!

“Which HOPE WE HAVE AS AN ANCHOR OF THE SOUL, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;” (Heb 6:19)

2. Hope will never put you to shame! Hold onto him and He will deliver!

“And HOPE MAKES NOT ASHAMED; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Rom 5:5)

3. Is your soul cast down? Hope in God!

“Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquietened within me? HOPE IN GOD: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” (Ps 42:11)

4. Against earthly hope, believe in heavenly hope, that you may inherit what heaven has promised you!

“(Abraham)Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations...” (Rom 4:18)

5. MY PRAYER FOR YOU:

“Now the GOD OF HOPE fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may ABOUND IN HOPE, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” (Rom 15:13)

6. MY EXHORTATION TO YOU:

“And now abide faith, HOPE, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Cor 13:13)

Read to the end & You will speak in other tongues !!!

The Holy Spirit & Fire & Tongues are God's FREE GIFT to you, not to be worked or toiled for !!!

Being baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in new tongues is as easy as ABCD...

God loves you enough to give you the Holy Spirit freely !!!

Follow the ABCD's below and receive here and now !!!

A. ASK JESUS CHRIST TO FILL YOU WITH HOLY SPIRIT!

He (Jesus Christ) shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Mt 3:11)

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW MUCH MORE SHALL YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THEM THAT ASK HIM? (Lk 11:13)

And they were ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, and BEGAN TO SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE. (Acts 2:4)

Just ask your dear loving heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who died for you and your sins. He will give it to you and Jesus Christ will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire, with evidence of speaking in other tongues right now.

Father gives! The Son baptizes! The Spirit gives utterance!

B. BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED!

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE THEM, AND YOU SHALL HAVE THEM. (Mk 11:24)

ASK, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE that your joy may be full." (Jn 16:24)

When you ask, God gives without delay! Receive now! Believe you have received and thank God for it!

C. CONFESS WITH YOUR LIPS!

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made... (Rom 10:8)

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; WE ALSO BELIEVE, AND THEREFORE SPEAK. (2 Cor 4:13)

When you were saved, you believed in your heart and confessed Jesus with your lips. Now CONFESS WITH YOUR LIPS, BUT IN THE NEW LANGUAGE the Spirit gives you.

D. DO THE SPEAKING!

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and BEGAN TO SPEAK with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Open your mouth and BEGIN TO SPEAK, not in English, nor any other known language, for GOD CANNOT GUIDE YOU TO SPEAK IN TONGUES IF YOU ARE SPEAKING IN A KNOWN LANGUAGE. You can't speak two languages at once!

ALSO GOD CANNOT GUIDE YOU IF YOU ARE SILENT AND YOUR MOUTH IS CLOSED.

SPEAK !!! THE SECRET IS IN BEGINNING TO SPEAK...

Trust God for syllables words, as Peter trusted Jesus for every step to walk on water. Speaking in tongues is a childlike act of faith. It is simply speaking, using your voice, but instead of saying what your mind wants you to say, you trust the Holy Spirit to guide your voice directly to say what He wants you to say. YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND BEGIN TO SPEAK!!!

PRAYER FOR BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

Now is your time. Find a secluded spot, follow the instructions and pray:

1. If you are by yourself, say this prayer, or if you are assisting someone to receive, pray out this prayer loud and let the person repeat after you...

2. Instead of saying Amen at the end of this prayer, BEGIN TO SPEAK IN NEW SYLLABLES THAT WILL ALREADY BE ON YOUR TONGUE BY THE TIME YOU REACH THE END OF THIS PRAYER...

3. Pray the following aloud...

Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am under the protection of the precious Blood of Jesus, which has cleansed me from all sin. I am under the fire of the Holy Spirit, your name and the help of your Holy angels...

I believe and confess that JESUS CHRIST, YOU ARE LORD & GOD RAISED YOU FROM THE DEAD... I am saved !!!

I renounce every hidden thing of darkness that hinders the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. I say "No" to all ungodliness. I receive redemption, the forgiveness of sins. I receive the gift of righteousness and liberty in Christ. Christ makes me free and I am free indeed...

I thank you for your Holy Spirit IN me and UPON me right now. I receive and I thank you that I am clothed with power from on High right now...

I receive from you, your faith for speaking in new tongues. I receive from you, your believing for speaking in new tongues... all things are possible for me now...

I receive your power and your fire in every fibre of my being. I receive your tongues, your power and your fire in every fibre of my mouth, my lips and my tongue...

DEAR LORD JESUS, BAPTISE ME IN THE HOLY DPIRIT AND FIRE NOW! PLEASE FILL ME WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT NOW, THAT I MAY BEGIN TO SPEAK AND PRAISE GOD IN A NEW LANGUAGE BEYOND THE LIMITATIONS OF MY INTELLECT AND UNDERSTANDING, AS THE SPIRIT GIVES ME UTTERANCE. I RECEIVE RIGHT NOW...

Thank You, Lord, I believe that You're doing it right now! In Jesus' Name I pray...

SAY THE FOLLOWING WORDS AND THEN BEGIN TO SPEAK IN NEW TONGUES! SPEAK! SPEAK! SPEAK!

Say, I RECEIVE........ (then begin to speak)... (speak)... (speak)... (speak)...

HEALING & MIRACLES: Gospel's Advertising Agencies

Dear Gospel Minister & Believer

Jesus Christ neither had a blog, page, Whatsapp group, Instagram, nor website. There were no billboards, neither television nor radio. Yet his fame went abroad and multitudes thronged him. Why? Answer lies in demonstration of the power of God!

I write to let you know that acts of power ie deliverance, healing and miracles are the advertising agencies of the gospel. Yes! They are not the Gospel per se, but they are the Gospel's primary marketing tools. Yes! They have been abused and counterfeited but that does not make them of no relevance.

They are needed, not only for pulpit ministry and crusades, but also for soul winning through personal one to one witnessing. A minister ignores or downplays them at his/her own peril.

It is written of Jesus: “And his FAME went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with diverse diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.” (Mt 4:24)

It is also written: “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a FAME of him through all the region round about.” (Lk 4:14)

It is further written: “But so much the more went there a FAME abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.” (Lk 5:15)

The apostles had a daunting task to spread the gospel amid the opposition of the Judaizers. They were outnumbered, not as educated, not as equipped, but they overcame. How? They were endured with power from on High! They had waited for the Holy Spirit and He had come upon them. They demonstrated the power of God through miracles, signs and wonders.

It is written: “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people... the people magnified them... And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women... There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one." (Acts 5:12-16)

By the demonstration of power, they turned the world upside down and ignited a fire that has burnt for generations.

The same can be said of God's generals, Alexander Dowie, John G Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, Kathryn Khulman, Maria Woodworth Etter, Kenneth Hagin to name but a few.

Even in Africa, we have our own of the likes of late Benson Idahosa, Temitope Bologan Joshua, Reinhard Bonkke, and Ps Chris Oyakhilome who is still on the scene. Their distinguishing mark is deliverance, healing and miracles.

Closer home we have the late Ezekiel Guti, Pr Emmanuel Makandiwa, Pr Walter Magaya etc No matter the mixed feelings you may have about the abovementioned, their cutting age is demonstration of power through deliverance, healing, and miracles.

So dear minister, seek God and walk in the demonstration of His power. Get power! Get healing! Get deliverance! And with all thy getting, get miracles signs and wonders! Anointing will cease to be annoying! Ministry will be enjoyable not endurance! The harvest will be evident!

Sinerely Yours
For Sings and Wonders
