CYDT is a provincial youth focused organization that was formed in 2012 in Matebeleland South

CYDT is a provincial youth focused organization that was formed in 2012 and officially registered in 2015. The organization was established by a concerned youth motivated by the idea that young people are the custodians of good governance and democracy in any society, and that their full participation can help transform local communities as far as development is concerned. It seeks to develop the

skills of young people so that they can effectively and actively engage and participate in the country’s political, economic and democratic processes. CYDT is a member based organization with individual members and institutional members. Membership is open to any registered CBO and CSO in Matabeleland South working towards advancing young women and men (boys and girls) rights.
