As the week closes, NKomwa Foundation Trust , in partnership with Hands Trust Zimbabwe, provided essential skincare lotions to Persons with Albinism in Matabeleland South Province.

For Persons with Albinism, proper skincare is essential in reducing the risk of skin cancer and promoting health and dignity.

Persons with disabilities are not spectators — we are agents of development.
Today, NKomwa Foundation Trust joined the nation and the Municipality of Gwanda in the National Clean-Up Campaign in Jahunda, Ward 4.

A clean environment is essential for everyone, including persons with disabilities. Clean and accessible communities promote dignity, health, safety, independence and meaningful participation.

Today, we did more than clean our community. We demonstrated that disability inclusion means participation, contribution and action.

NKomwa Foundation Trust is honoured and humbled to be part of the 2026 International Day of Older Persons commemorations being held in Matobo District, Matabeleland South Province.

This year’s commemorations are being held under the powerful theme:

“The Age of Longevity: Rethinking Systems for Longer Lives.”

As people live longer, we must rethink the systems that support them—ensuring that older persons can live with dignity, inclusion, security, good health and meaningful participation in their communities.

Today, we celebrate not only longer lives, but the knowledge, experience and contributions that older persons bring to our families and communities.
