As we wrap up the week, we are delighted to welcome 12 young people with disabilities from Gwanda, Beitbridge, Insiza, and Umzingwane who are pursuing vocational training at Jairos Jiri Vocational Training Centre in Bulawayo.

At NKomwa Foundation Trust (NFT), we remain committed to empowering vulnerable young people through skills development that opens doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and independent living. We commend the Government of Zimbabwe and our valued partners for their continued collaboration in making inclusive skills development a reality.

STANBIC Bank Zimbabwe has doubled its assistance to CURE Children's Hospital of Zimbabwe to US$50 000, a move that will enable 30 children with correctable disabilities that include bowed legs, knock knees, clubfoot, brittle bone disease, Weinsperger syndrome, acute trauma, burns, and contractures to undergo life-changing operations.

Empowering Persons with Disabilities Through Digital Skills!

Last week, NKomwa Foundation Trust (NFT), in partnership with POTRAZ, successfully trained 29 persons with disabilities from Matabeleland South Province during a five-day Digital Skills Training Programme held in Beitbridge.

Participants from Beitbridge, Gwanda, Bulilima, Insiza, and Umzingwane gained practical ICT skills, including:
💻 Basic computer operations
🌐 Internet navigation
📧 Email communication
🔒 Online safety
📊 Digital productivity tools
🏛️ Access to e-government services

Digital skills are no longer optional—they are essential for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and active participation in Zimbabwe's digital economy.
