Our teams Project officer Ruvimbo Samukange had the honour of attending Zimbabwe's launch of the groundbreaking long acting PrEp injection last week at the Epworth Polyclinic in Harare.

This initiative was led by the Ministry of Health and Child Care under Minister Dr Douglas Mombeshora, making Zimbabwe one of the first countries to globally roll out this next generation HIV prevention tool.

We had the opportunity to share our HIV and Sexual & Reproductive health rights programming work with the Minister, where we will continuously work tirelessly to promote awareness and access to PrEP, particularly to the nations vulnerable key populations.

The injection is available to HIV negative adults and adolescents administered every 6 months and is a powerful tool in the fight against HIV where the goal is to reduce new infections. The event was one that emphasised the importance of continued investment in HIV prevention.

We are grateful to have had witnessed the launch of a powerful and future changing investment in the health of our country

Happy New Year 🎊 We are back to regular business and starting off with a Pad Drive.

This Pad Drive will be running from now till Feb 14th - the day of love , to show love to the young girls in our community by donating sanitary products to them.

Many young girls miss school due to lack of period products each month. As you can imagine, a few days of missing classes can heavily impact on their abilities to remain focused in school. It can also leave them behind in class which can stop them from completing school in a way that can make a difference to their lives.

So we ask that you support us in calling the numbers below, to donate to the pad drive. We welcome pads or any sanitary products you may have to help our young girls continue living to their full potential.

Kicking off Day 1 of the Youth Collective Action for Social Transformation Workshop.

This programme focuses on strengthening youth-led Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) with practical tools for human rights monitoring, data collection, governance engagement, and policy influence. The goal is simple but powerful: build a generation of youth advocates who can confidently track what’s happening in their communities and hold systems accountable.

Today’s sessions reminded us just how much potential sits within young people when they are supported with structure, skills, and genuine opportunities to lead. Empowering youth isn’t symbolic—it is a direct investment into stronger institutions, responsive policies, and long-term social transformation.

Honoured to be part of a process that centres youth voices where they belong: at the heart of change.

Today marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism.
This year we highlight digital violence — a fast-growing form of abuse affecting women and girls worldwide.

Digital violence can look like:
• Online harassment
• Cyberstalking — monitoring someone’s movements, posts, or online activity
• Image-based abuse — sharing private photos without consent

These actions, and many others, silence women’s voices and compromise their safety.

We stand with women and girls everywhere — raising our voices, challenging harmful norms, and working towards a world where safety isn’t a privilege, but a right.

We encourage you to join us by sharing our posts throughout these 16 Days, helping us raise awareness and spark vital conversations in your communities.
