Youth Aspire Development Trust (YADT) is honoured and grateful to have participated in the YCA4SOTRA National Youth Indaba, and to be one of the youth-led organisations supported through the YCA4SOTRA Project.

The National Youth Indaba provided an important platform for young people and youth-led organisations from across Zimbabwe to come together, reflect on the priorities identified during the provincial youth indabas, and contribute towards a united national youth agenda. The discussions reinforced the urgent need to address youth unemployment, climate change, digital inclusion, mental health, child protection, disability inclusion, and meaningful youth participation in decision-making.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Saywhat for their outstanding leadership in implementing the YCA4SOTRA Project and for creating inclusive spaces where young people can influence policies, share innovative solutions, and drive sustainable development. We are truly grateful to be part of this transformative initiative and look forward to continuing our contribution to empowering young people and strengthening youth-led action across Zimbabwe.

Together, we can ensure that every young person's voice is heard and that no young person is left behind.

Empowering Young Women Through Dialogue and Action 💜

In partnership with Grace Hope Foundation, Youth Aspire Development Trust (YADT) successfully conducted two Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) community dialogues with adolescent girls, young women, and teenage mothers in Chitungwiza.

The dialogues created safe spaces for open conversations on teenage pregnancy, HIV prevention, and youth friendly service provision, equipping participants with accurate information to make informed decisions about their health, rights, and future. Through interactive discussions, participants also reflected on the importance of accessing youth-friendly health services, preventing stigma, and strengthening community support for young mothers.

At YADT, we believe that informed young people are empowered young people. By working together with partners and communities, we continue to champion youth-led advocacy, amplify young women's voices, and promote access to comprehensive SRHR information and services for all.

Together, we are building healthier, safer, and more empowered communities.

Youth voices matter in shaping better services!

On Friday, young people came together for a Services and Commitments Assessment Meeting under the Y4SORTA Project supported by Saywhat , engaging in meaningful discussions to assess the availability, accessibility, quality, and responsiveness of services that impact young people.

Through open dialogue and collaborative reflection, participants identified key strengths, challenges, and practical recommendations to strengthen accountability and ensure that commitments made to young people translate into real action.

We appreciate the active participation of all stakeholders and young people who contributed to this important process.

Together, we are strengthening youth participation, accountability, and inclusive service delivery.

✅ Based in Chitungwiza or able to report for duty in Chitungwiza.
✅ Passionate about youth development, community engagement, and social impact.
