Empowering Youths with Physical Challenges.

Teen Rescue Mission is proud to celebrate one of our youths, Kudakwashe, who is demonstrating confidence and excellence in his dressmaking skills training at the TRM Chigovanyika Youth Centre.
Kudakwashe, a young person living with a physical disability, was experiencing stress and depression with nothing to do.Through professional counseling provided by Teen Rescue Mission, he received the support he needed, and TRM subsequently enrolled him in a dressmaking course.
Today, Kudakwashe is thriving in class, showing remarkable progress, confidence, and determination. He has gained valuable skills that will help him build a sustainable and independent future.
His journey is a testament to the power of support, opportunity, and empowerment in transforming lives.

It was a great joy meeting with Kuda Mutsvene. We had an opportunity to reflect on past years and share experiences from our respective music platforms. The meeting was both encouraging and fruitful, and we are excited that Kuda is set to speak against drugs and also lined up to minister through music at the upcoming TRM Prayer Event.

Teen Rescue Mission Director Meets Chinese Diplomat.

Today, Teen Rescue Mission (TRM) Director, Dr. Abraham Matuka, met with Chinese diplomat Mr. Pan at the Chinese Embassy as the Embassy kick start their support on TRM projects.
During the meeting, the Embassy highly commended the work being carried out by TRM in empowering young people, who are the future generation. The Embassy expressed its appreciation for TRM’s efforts and commitment to youth development.

TRM Director Invited to Canada Day Celebrations.

Today, TRM Director, Dr. Abraham Matuka, received an invitation to attend the Canada Day celebrations hosted at the residence of the Canadian Ambassador. During the event, Dr. Matuka met with the difference diplomats and Ambassadors, who commended the outstanding work being carried out by TRM in empowering young people and promoting positive social change.
Dr. Matuka also took the opportunity to bid farewell to the Canadian Ambassador, whose term of office in Zimbabwe has come to an end.
TRM remains committed to saying No to drugs, early pregnancies, and crime, while continuing to empower young people to become responsible and productive members of society.

TRM Praise Team Prepare for Prayer Event Event.

The recent reports of a 14-year-old involved in serious crimes and a man accused of ra**ng a Grade Two pupil highlight the urgent need to seek God's intervention for the protection and well-being of our children.
Yesterday, the TRM Praise Team continued preparations for the upcoming prayer event, which is centred on calling upon God to save, protect, and transform the lives of our children.
Let us stand together in prayer for the protection, healing, guidance, and future of the next generation. TRM's goal is to help create a safer, healthier, and more nurturing environment where our children can grow and thrive.

Pst Dudu Manhenga Joins Line-Up for TRM Youth Anti-Drug Prayer Event.

Today, TRM Director Doc Abraham Matuka met with Pst Dudu Manhenga and her husband, Mr Blessing as the couple officially joined the line-up of ministers for the upcoming TRM Youth Anti-Drug Prayer Event.
Pst Dudu, one of the nation's most powerful gospel worshippers, together with her husband, commended TRM for the impactful work it is doing in communities. The couple expressed their commitment to supporting the initiative by ministering through music at the TRM “No to Drugs” Youth Prayer Event.
In addition, they offered to assist with logistics and event coordination, demonstrating their passion as parents who desire to see young people guided, empowered, and supported through the programme.

Teen Rescue Mission Donates to Seke 1 High School.

Today, Teen Rescue Mission (TRM) donated sanitary pads to young girls with physical challenges at Seke 1 High School. The donation was officially handed over by the Mayor of Chitungwiza, Councillor Rosaria Mangoma.
While presenting the donation, Mayor Mangoma commended Teen Rescue Mission for its continued efforts in supporting and empowering young people. The Headmaster of Seke 1 High School also expressed his gratitude to TRM for the timely and meaningful donation.
Teen Rescue Mission remains committed to its mission of saying no to drug abuse, early pregnancies, and crime, while empowering the future generation through various community initiatives.

Teen Rescue Mission Strengthens Partnership with the University of Zimbabwe

Today, Teen Rescue Mission (TRM) met with the University of Zimbabwe Student Committee to strengthen our partnership ahead of the upcoming prayer event and other ongoing programmes being implemented by TRM.
During the meeting, members of the Student Committee shared valuable insights into the challenges currently affecting young people. Their perspectives underscored the urgent need for collective action, mentorship, and prayer in shaping a brighter future for the next generation.
This growing partnership reflects our shared commitment to empowering, supporting, and inspiring young people through meaningful engagement, personal development, and spiritual growth. By working together, we aim to create impactful opportunities that address the needs of youth while fostering hope, resilience, and positive transformation within our communities.
