Peter was released from the medical care facility in Harare earlier this week. Mrs. F. Sithole has resumed home health care with some new buckets and supplies, along with the prescription medication and procedures outlined by the combined medical team.

PKZ Director Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya reports Peter is in good spirits.

PKZ Director Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya enjoyed a visit with young Peter while in Harare yesterday. Vrante reports that Peter was excited to have a visitor and that the medical staff is simply outstanding!

It is a blessing that Peter has this opportunity for care. The Harare doctor is prescribing much of the same medication as the Chipinge doctor did. More testing is underway.

Food security delivery to 22 women today at Jopa -- maize, cooking oil, salt and sugar -- by PKZ Director Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya .

PKZ honors the Day of the African Child today with the distribution of 100 dresses at Samhusta Primary School and 65 reusable sanitary pad kits at Samhusta Secondary School.

Both schools are in Samhusta Village, Ward 2, along the Ngaone Road in Chipinge. The primary school was devastated by Cyclone Idai in March 2019 and is still struggling to complete a school classroom block seven years later.

PKZ Director Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya says Headmaster Mlambo reported that many students drop out due to difficulties in paying school fees, which has been further complicated by the cyclone's destruction of their fields. Many families moved to mountainous areas because of the cyclone.

Deepest appreciation goes to the people of Dress A Girl Around the World of Southern Maine. Their donation of dresses brings hope, dignity, and self-respect to these young girls.

The reusable sanitary pad kits enables high school girls to attend school without falling behind academically by missing a week of school each month. Something so simple empowers these girls to greater heights!

Some surprise snacks for the little ones at the Daisy Dube Children's Village at Mt Selinda by PKZ Director Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya.

Look at that beautiful roof on the cottage built by the PKZ team, led by Maxwell Makuyana! Electricians are now working inside. WOW, such great progress with a dedicated crew.

Thank you to all who support this amazing effort. We still have so much left to do, and with your help we will get there!

PKZ Director Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya (wearing his KEY-DAY builders t-shirt) and builder Maxwell Makuyana are having some fun using the machine to tamp down the foundation area for the Daisy Dube Children's Village home. Justin Mawonde, electrician and plumber, is placing the pipes for the wiring. The cement is next!

Ingenious how Calvin Mubaso has that kind of 'pulley system' with wire and a stick to keep the machine in the right place!

Great progress on the 4th cottage for the Daisy Dube Children's Village at Mt. Selinda!

The foundation is almost ready to be 'poured.' No cement mixers as all of it is done by hand. So impressed by the intense physical labor involved.

Drastic price increases for transportation and for building materials (fuel is approx $8 per gallon and cement has risen to $20 per bag) is causing some stress for our PKZ director.

But we know all will be well! Kudos to Vrante Mahlupeko Jambaya, Maxwell Makuyana and their team!
