I would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Chinhoyi and those who contributed funds to fulfill the goal of making Chinhoyi a better community for all.

We have successfully delivered a few grocery items that were donated to our beloved home, Chengetanai Old People's Home.We hope to grow our community with love, peace, and integrity, so that our kids can see the good things we do and follow in our footsteps

Thank you to everyone who contributed. May God bless you with a long life ,prosperity and grant you all your wishes.

A Brief History of Chinhoyi

Chinhoyi, a city in central northern Zimbabwe, has a rich history intertwined with the country's colonial past and struggle for independence

Colonial Era and Early Settlement

Originally known as Sinoia, the town was established in 1906 as an Italian settlement scheme
Lieutenant Margherito Guidotti, an Italian, encouraged ten Italian families to settle in the area. The town quickly grew, becoming a significant center for agriculture and mining.

The Spark of the Second Chimurenga

Chinhoyi holds a special place in Zimbabwe's history as the site where the Second Chimurenga, the armed struggle for independence, began. In 1966, the first shots of the war were fired near the Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital, marking a turning point in the country's fight for liberation.

Post-Independence and Modern Chinhoyi

Following Zimbabwe's
independence in 1980, the town was renamed Chinhoyi, honoring a local chief. It has since developed into a bustling city, serving as a regional hub for commerce, education, and healthcare. Chinhoyi is also home to the Chinhoyi Caves, a popular tourist attraction known for its stunning limestone formations.

Today, Chinhoyi continues to evolve, balancing its historical significance with modern aspirations. It remains a vibrant city with a strong connection to its past and a promising future.

Hey winners,check this out.l have an idea....If we can pool our resources and each contribute $5 in December, we could purchase a significant amount of supplies. For instance, one person could buy chicken, another fruits, and we could even afford a truckload of food!We donate these items to Chinhoyi Hospital, Chengetanai, and the prison.We've endured many hardships since 2019, but we persevered. Now, it's time to express our gratitude to God.
