Today we stepped into the classroom with our very first IT course cohort in Chimanimani. In collaboration with Nyanyadzi Vocational Training Center and the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training , the lessons have officially kicked off.

We are super thrilled to see young people building the skills that will carry them into modern workspaces, open doors to purseue the IT field, and empower their own homegrown innovations. This is more than a course. It's an unlocking.

Starting from small beginnings till our communities get digital skills

Towards Building Digitalized Communities.

We are beyond thrilled and proud to announce the commencement of our Information Technology Course in partnership with Nyanyadzi Vocational Training Center and the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training .

Special thanks to Mr. Mashiyani from Nyanyadzi VTC for facilitating a smooth registration day with the youths. This initiative is about more than just computer literacy, but creating competent, work-ready innovators who can drive change from their own homes and into the work spaces.
We are thrilled to be equipping these young minds with the digital skills they need to:
✅ Excel in modern workspaces.
✅ Launch innovative ideas right from their homes.
✅ Become architects of a digitally-driven future for their communities.

This is just the beginning. The ark is moving!

Across Nyabamba, Ndima Gvt High, and Chayamiti Primary & Secondary, this end of March, Progression Digital Ark hosted powerful film screenings with a core goal to establish a clear linkage between Climate Change and community initiatives, particularly the construction of erosion control structures(loose gabions)and beekeeping, while pointing out how such projects can serve as both environmental restoration tools and commendable livelihood opportunities for young people.The sessions harnessed different views , ideas and solutions to Climate Change experiences young people and youths are facing in their communities. Talking of Climate change and menstrual hygiene, water challenges and water harvesting techniques.


The film screenings were interactive and students proposed forming climate change action groups at each school.With the support from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Youth, Department of Social Services and FACT, Progression Digital Ark is following up to help those groups grow.

As Progression Digital Ark the journey continues, with our interactive film screenings on menstrual health across Chimanimani . We visited Nyahode Vocational Training Center, MDA-Biriri, St Patricks High, Mhakwe Youths , and Chikwakwa—engaging both in-school and out-of-school youth in honest conversations about SRHR and how climate change deepens period poverty.

The energy and willingness to talk openly gives hope and paves way to immense support from families towards the girl child around menstrual health and hygiene issues.
It takes everyone: fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, boys and girls to promote menstrual health and hygiene understanding and support.
