"One of the causes of child marriages in Binga is poverty. Failure to get funds to further their studies, young women feel the next step or the way out is to get married." – Magaddlen Munsaka

Poverty continues to limit opportunities for many girls, forcing them to make life-changing decisions before they are ready. When access to education becomes a challenge, the risk of child marriage increases.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and build a brighter future. Yet, many learners continue to leave school before completing their education due to challenges such as poverty, child marriages, teenage pregnancies, drug and substance abuse, and other socio-economic barriers.

Join us for an engaging Virtual Town Hall Discussion as we explore the causes of school dropouts, their impact on communities, and the policy and community-driven solutions needed to keep learners in school.
