Vulindela Orphan Care is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Patricia Tshabalala in 1996. Initially, it began as a Horticultural Center but shifted its focus to being an NGO when the AIDS pandemic emerged, aiming to assist children whose parents had succumbed to the HIV virus. The organization strongly believes in the universal right to education and was established with the purpose of aiding children in their pursuit of education.

Ms. Tshabalala firmly holds the belief that every child possesses inherent potential, which is essential for the advancement of our society. The organization envisions creating a dedicated community that not only provides education and support for orphaned and vulnerable children but also advocates for their social, educational, developmental, and physical needs. Vulindela Orphan Care is committed to empowering communities, providing educational opportunities to children, and fostering sustainable development.
