Firefight Wildfire Resilience
(Training, Equipping, Awareness & Systems) TEAS A sustainable product, to sell to the world, oxygen for carbon.

We started a humble project to capacitate communities in rural areas with firefighting equipment, having noted the challenges faced by most rural folks in responding to veld fires that occur yearly in and around their areas. In equipping them we believe it not only challenges them to respond, but simultaneously creates the much needed awareness on the adverse effects of veld fires. The ultimate in

tention of this initiative is to reduce the prevalence and incidence of veld fires in Zimbabwe which has reached unprecedented levels. The overall benefit of this will be to protect biodiversity and promote re-afforestation as we develop our oxygen factory to counter the growing carbon emissions produced by industry. The equipment alluded to includes basic and appropriate tools ie fire beaters/swatters, fire knapsacks, rakes. The fire beaters are produced from reused conveyor belts that are donated by mining houses who have pledged to support this initiative. These donations help reduce the cost of these basic tools. We continue to seek support in this drive and hope more corporates, organisations and individuals will join hands with us to achieve this plan. Zimbabwe is a beautiful and blessed country, lets “Dress It and Keep It” Gen 2:15, as the good book commands us.

The Firebeater: Zimbabwe’s Simple Weapon in Peak Fire Season

We are in the peak of fire season. Across Zimbabwe, farmers, landholders, and communities brace themselves against the threat of veldfires that can erase a year’s work in minutes.

But what if the answer lies in a simple, homegrown tool?

The Firebeater — crafted from repurposed conveyor belts, durable, affordable, and environmentally friendly — has already become a symbol of resilience. Since 2015, 26,500 firebeaters have been distributed, protecting fields, homes, and forests.

This season, we must ask:
👉 What if every farmer had a firebeater?
👉 What if every community was equipped to fight fires at their source?
👉 What if stopping wildfires also meant cutting emissions and creating carbon finance opportunities for Zimbabwe?

That is the vision behind the One Million Firebeater Initiative — equipping one million hands with one million firebeaters across Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.

But we cannot do it alone.

🔥 If you are a farmer, get a firebeater — protect your land.
🔥 If you are a hardware store or agro-dealer, become a stockist — empower your community.
🔥 If you are a corporate or donor, support this initiative — fund fire prevention, not fire disasters.

Together, we can build a Southern African shield against wildfires, starting with one tool, one farmer, one community at a time.
