Over the last 7 years Purse on Point has created over 120 home owners,through our stands group buying scheme.A huge percentage of these women are first time home owners.

Our Purse on Point group buying scheme ensures that each woman buys a stand in their own name,while the Purse on Point group enables the women get significant group discounts and terms on the stands purchases as well as building materials We also offer accountability support and mentorship throught out the building journey.

Over 60 of our women bought stands at Emganwini along Plumtree road and a lot of our members have begun to build after getting their building plans approved.

Eveey day on our group we are getting inspired by the construction stories of these ladies as they share their journeys and the lessons learned.These testimonies serve to spur our would be landlords into action.

Last week we held our Ladies Annual Property and Investment Seminar which was a huge success.

We discussed starting and scaling the business of real estate as well other options such as REIT,Air BnB,Buying dilapitated properties,Rent to Rent Strategies among many others.

We also learned about Estate and Succession planning in detail.

Five of our members shared their property acquisition testimonies since joining Purse On Point and helped insire action in a lot of the delegates.

One of the highlights of the Seminar was the reading of the 2025 Property Success stories which include 56 ladies who bought Isinga Estate stands from Steynberg Developers,Mahatshula stands from Enock Construction,and Emganwini stands from TCI and Cabin Lock.We also celebrated the 21 first time stand owners who represent the endless possibilities that exist within our group.

Purse on Point has seen over 120 women become stand owners since 2019,and our annual conference theme has been consistent and supports our sole mandate of creating African women changemakers through multipurpose entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

One of the reminders that we were told at the Seminar was that at Purse on Point we do not discuss Financial literacy,but we PRACTICE it, and our members are a living testimony to that.

Last week we held the End of Term Teenagers Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy Breakfast Meeting and it was epic!!!

Multiple idea generation was the order of the day,and good financial habits were inculcated into the teens.

The room was blazing after entrepreneurial orientation,and the financial literacy session ushered in the much needed grounding because the skill to make money is different from the skill to manage or keep the money.

Succession planning was exciting as we built the much needed interest in parents business whilst encouraging the next generation innovation that this generation brings.

We struggled to part with the teenagers at the end of the breakfast meeting as they still had a lot of business ideas to share,and we are super grateful for the raving reviews that we continue to receive from the parents and guardians.

Its indeed mission accomplished for us.See you at the end of term 3.
