Maranatha Orphans Care Trust proudly participated in the Women's Coalition of Zimbabwe Inception and Planning Meeting held on 22–23 July 2026. Every conversation strengthened our resolve to champion the rights, safety, and empowerment of women and girls.

Maranatha Orphans Care Trust, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, SWRGN, and local leadership, conducted a Mobile Legal Aid Clinic in Wards 10 and 17 of Matobo District. The outreach aimed to improve access to legal services for rural communities by providing free legal information and advice on inheritance laws, marriage laws, child protection and birth registration, and gender-based violence legislation. The clinic also raised legal awareness, facilitated referrals for ongoing legal matters, and provided a platform for community members to discuss legal challenges, identify priority issues, and develop action plans for improved access to justice.

Maranatha Orphans Care Trust, in collaboration with SWRGN (Southern Western Region Gender Network) and the DSD (Department of Social Development) conducted a Disability Inclusion Advocacy Forum in Wards 10 and 17 of Matobo District. The forum focused on promoting disability inclusion by creating safe spaces, developing action plans for people with disabilities and discussing the challenges they face in their communities.

As part of our organizational development journey, Maranatha Orphans Care Trust participated in a capacity-building meeting facilitated by Mr Milton Chinyanga from COSPE. The engagement focused on identifying key areas for strengthening the organization.
