ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS
"2nd Corinthians 7:10 - For the sadness that is used by God brings a change of heart that leads to salvation, and there is no regret in that! But sadness that is merely human causes death.
DIVINE FOOD
Before I got saved, beloved, in 2005, I used to be stressed and lonely. I tried every avenue to satisfy the void inside me. I sought worldly fun to ease the tension - taking alcohol, clubbing, and being merry. But when I woke up in the morning, I still had feelings of stress and headache, and the problems I was running from never ceased. I felt stuck, and my life was stagnant. I felt the shadow of death because I was living a life characterized by hopeless sorrow, breeding problems in my character.
But the moment I received Jesus Christ, I repented and became a new creation. It doesn't mean I don't get sad; the good news is that when I'm overwhelmed with crisis or issues, He always makes a way without me having to rely on worldly means. In God, there is favor and grace, no stress. When overwhelmed, I look unto Jesus and let Him and His will prevail.
Let me encourage you, beloved: salvation has more privileges than relying on worldly motives. When in distress, I cry to God and let Him be my hiding place, and surely He does exceedingly, abundantly more than I can imagine.
My encouragement to you is: are you still in the world seeking worldly joy? Come to Jesus, repent, and your life will never be the same. Come out of that company of worldly friends, deal with that addiction, leave that abusive and manipulative relationship, and throw away those love potions from other gods. Come to Jesus; there is life in abundance.
Don't abort your vision, dreams, and destiny because of life's issues. Live for purpose.
