TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A DRUG-FREE GENERATION

Drug and substance abuse is not just an individual challenge—it is a community challenge that affects our young people, families, dreams and the future we are building together.

At Young Generations, we believe that every young person deserves an opportunity to choose life, purpose and a positive future.

Our Campaign to Stop Drug and Substance Abuse is about more than saying NO to drugs. It is about creating spaces where young people can be heard, supported, equipped and empowered to make healthy choices.

Through this campaign, we are focusing on:

🔹 Awareness & Education – helping communities understand the dangers and impact of drug and substance abuse.
🔹 Counselling & Support – providing guidance, psychosocial support and referrals to those in need.
🔹 Youth Empowerment – equipping young people with life skills, vocational skills and positive alternatives.
🔹 Community Action – bringing together families, schools, churches, leaders and young people to protect our communities.

Our message is simple:

Say NO to drugs. Choose life. Choose purpose. Support one another. Build a healthy and safe community.

We refuse to define our young people by their challenges. We choose to see their potential, their talents, their dreams and their ability to transform their communities.

We are proud to celebrate the 5th Graduation Ceremony of Young Generations, marking an important milestone for our 2026 graduates in Clothing Technology, Computer Studies and Cosmetology.

These young people have demonstrated that with the right skills, mentorship, determination and opportunity, young lives can be transformed.

Today is more than a graduation—it is a celebration of potential unlocked, confidence restored and dreams given a new direction. Young Generations at the Bindura Agricultural Show

Young Generations was proud to exhibit at the Bindura Agricultural Show, showcasing the creativity, innovation, and practical skills of our trainees. Our display featured beautifully crafted clothing, handbags, and other handmade products that reflect the talent and dedication of our young people.

The exhibition provided an excellent platform to connect with the community, network with stakeholders, and demonstrate how vocational skills can create employment, promote entrepreneurship, and transform lives.

It is an honour and privilege to be part of the conversation on strengthening women's participation in peacebuilding and decision-making.

Meaningful and lasting peace can only be achieved when women are empowered to lead, influence decisions, and contribute their knowledge and lived experiences. Every woman who is given a voice strengthens not only her community but also inspires future generations to stand up, lead, and create positive change.

We are glad to share our 2nd quarter Newsletter
At Young Generations, we continue to witness the incredible transformation that happens when vulnerable youth are given opportunities to learn, grow, and lead.

From vocational skills training in fashion, welding, carpentry, and textile studies to life skills, sports and wellness, leadership development, and drug abuse prevention, every programme is designed to build confidence, resilience, and hope.

One of our proudest moments is seeing our graduates become entrepreneurs and employers, creating opportunities for others in their communities. This is the ripple effect of investing in young people.

We are also excited to begin developing our new training institute and Chroma-farming project in Bindura—a vision that will provide a safe space where young people can gain practical skills, explore sustainable innovation, and build brighter futures.

Together, we are not just teaching skills—we are transforming lives and building stronger communities.
