From struggle to strength, from addiction to purpose, this was the powerful testimony shared at the National Youth Drug Awareness Campaign.

One of our proud graduates stood before the audience, not just as a speaker, but as living proof that transformation is possible. Once trapped in the cycle of drug addiction, he faced challenges that seemed impossible to overcome. But through determination, support, and access to skills training, he chose a different path.

Today, he is a professional designer, using his creativity not only to build a career, but to inspire others to believe in second chances.

His story reminded everyone in the room that behind every statistic is a human being with dreams, potential, and the ability to rise again. It was more than a testimony, it was a call to action. A reminder that when young people are given guidance, skills, and hope, they can rewrite their stories.

Standing Strong Against Drug and Substance Abuse

Our beneficiaries recently took part in a powerful drug and substance abuse awareness campaign, an experience that left a lasting impact on their lives. Hearing real-life testimonies from inmates was both emotional and eye-opening. Their stories revealed the harsh realities and consequences of choices that once seemed small but led to life-changing outcomes.

This was more than just an awareness session, it was a moment of reflection, learning, and transformation. Our young people were reminded that every decision matters and that their future is worth protecting.

We are proud to see them engage, learn, and grow with courage and determination. As they move forward, they carry not only knowledge but also a renewed commitment to making positive choices and becoming ambassadors of change in their communities.

Prioritizing Mental Health for a Brighter Future

At Young Generations, we believe that empowering young people goes beyond vocational and technical skills. It also means creating safe spaces where they can openly talk about their mental health, emotions, and personal challenges.

During our recent Life Skills Session on Mental Health, participants engaged in meaningful conversations about managing stress, supporting one another, and understanding the importance of seeking help when facing difficulties.

Mental well-being is the foundation for confidence, creativity, and productivity. By equipping young people with the tools to care for their mental health, we are helping them build resilience and the strength to navigate life’s challenges.

Together, we are nurturing a generation that is not only skilled, but also emotionally strong and supportive of one another.
