Three Angels Child education Mission -TACEM is a charity Not-for profit organization founded in 2004 by Mr. Muzeya's passion ans sympathy for grieving children who are either orphaned or vulnerable grew over time. His intention in forming an organization that will look into the plight of Orphans and vulnerable children went beyond sympanthy into empanthy, hence the much support that his organizati
on has given to orphans and vulnerable children since 2004. Preaching the gospel truth is one of the main core duties of his organization followed by education support to OVC, and mitigating the proplem of illiteracy among troubled rural residents of North Western Zambia. Between 2004 and 2012 the organization, in spite of financial challenges, has reached out to over 630 OVC with primarylbasic and secondary education support, some of whom have progressed to tertiary education. 0ver 399 were girls while 231 were boys. This record does not rule out the fact that many more OVC were not covered either due to financial deficits or unidentity of OVC from very remote villages of Kabompo. Beneficiaries and their families have also received spiritual material, prayers and counselling. Counseling and prayers with HIV/AIDS patients and those affected by it continues to play a pivot role in TACEM programs. Over 200. 000 gospel tracks and 12, 000 Bibles were distributed to various people mainly pupils, university/college students, sick people in hospitals and road users (motorists and passengers) within and beyond Western Province. The organization is a membership with over 150 member of whom 100 are women and 50 men (currently). DEDICATION
TACEM is dedicated to strengthen parents and caregivers so they can provide for their children's basic needs, ensure OVC have continued access to primary, basic, secondary and tertiary education, psychosocial care, food, shelter, legal and medical servic es, develop sustainable economic support of OVC households and implement focused interventions that address rural residents' most critical care needs. Support to OVC, Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls, Spiritual education and nurturing Prevention of the spread of HIV and AiDS, and promoting community sustainable development remain key activities at TACEM. Over 14 thousand children in North Western Province of Zambia are living without one or both biological parents as a result of HIV/AIDS. thousands more are vulnerble because of chronic diseases that have stricken their parents or guadians or the social and economic effects of living in HIV prevalent communities. TACEM responds to the needs of OVC affected by HIV/AIDS. It is committed to work with stakeholders such as government, FBOs, NGOs and local communities.
