KAPIJIMPANGA ESTABLISHMENT SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON RECENT SOCIAL MEDIA CLAIMS

The Kapijimpanga Establishment has officially welcomed all candidates adopted by the UPND for the positions of Councillors, Mayor, and Members of Parliament in Solwezi North and Solwezi Central.

Speaking on behalf of the establishment, Sub Chief Mwepu clarified recent concerns that circulated on social media in recent weeks. He emphasized that the Kapijimpanga Establishment is non-partisan and works with the government of the day in the interest of development and community welfare.

Sub Chief Mwepu further stated that the establishment does not tolerate tribalism, noting that its traditional leadership includes representatives from different ethnic groups, including the Lunda, Kaonde, and other communities. This reflects the establishment’s commitment to unity, inclusiveness, and peaceful coexistence.

The establishment appealed to all citizens to maintain peace and allow everyone to freely exercise their democratic rights. It also expressed appreciation to Hon. Stafford Mulusa and former Mayor Remmy Kalepa for their contributions and service, wishing them success in their future endeavors.

BALONGO BAMI

My name is Fumpa Kizela. I was born in Mufumbwe and raised right here among you. The people of Mufumbwe shaped who I am today.

Having grown up in this district, I understand our challenges firsthand. I know the condition of our township and feeder roads. I have seen our young people struggle to find employment opportunities. I have stood in the same clinic queues as many of you and witnessed the difficulties our families face in accessing quality healthcare and clean water.

But I want you to know that Mufumbwe is not forgotten.

Together, we can build a better future for our district. We will work to improve our roads, create skills training and opportunities for our youth, ensure our clinics are properly stocked, and address the water challenges affecting our communities.

On election day, choose a leader who listens before he speaks, a leader who understands your struggles because he has lived among you, and a leader who is committed to serving the people.

Together, we can move Mufumbwe forward.

Vote Fumpa Kizela.

Somali referee Omar Abdulkadir Artan, named Africa's Best Male Referee in 2025, will miss his historic World Cup 2026 debut after being denied entry into the United States.

He was set to become the first Somali official to referee at a FIFA World Cup match. FIFA confirmed that he will not be able to officiate at the tournament, saying immigration decisions are made by host governments.
