Mental Health Matters: Letting Go and Healing

At Muchinga Corridors Zambia , we're committed to supporting the well-being of our team members. Recently, we hosted a Health Corner activity focused on mental health, specifically the topic of "Letting Go." During this engaging session, we explored what mental health means to us and how it impacts our daily lives.

Reflection Highlights

We reflected on our past experiences and how they shape our present, exploring the impact of childhood trauma on adulthood. We also discussed the power of words, recognizing that our communication can either uplift or harm others, and the importance of being mindful of our impact on those around us.

Join Us This Friday!

This Friday at 2 PM, we'll continue our mental health journey. Everyone is welcome to attend and join the conversation. Let's work together to create a supportive environment that fosters growth, understanding, and healing.

One Tree Per House Campaign Makes Progress in Nakonde: 150 Orange Seedlings Planted!

The One Tree Per House campaign in Nakonde has made significant progress in its seedlings planting activity. Yesterday, 150 orange seedlings were successfully planted at Muchinga Corridors Zambia as part of the campaign's efforts to distribute trees to households and promote environmental conservation.

However, the work is far from over. We still have 550 more trees to plant, and to achieve this, we need to collect more plastic bottles to use as planters. Currently, we are short of 500 bottles, and we are counting on your support to meet our target.

The exercise will continue next week Tuesday at 10:00hrs at the Muchinga Corridors Zambia offices. We invite everyone to join us and contribute to this noble cause. If you know of any area with stray bottles, please let us know so we can arrange to collect them.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who participated in the seedlings planting activity. Your support has been invaluable, and we look forward to seeing you again next week. Let's continue to work together to keep our environment clean and green.

Next Steps:

- Date: Next week Tuesday
- Time: 10:00hrs
- Location: Muchinga Corridors Zambia offices
- What to bring: Plastic bottles

Let's come out in numbers and continue to make a positive impact on our community. Together, we can make a difference and create a better future for ourselves and future generations.

Nakonde Embarks on Innovative Tree Planting Initiative: One Tree Per House Campaign Takes Root!

In a bid to promote environmental sustainability and reduce plastic pollution, the One Tree Per House campaign has launched a seedlings planting exercise in Nakonde, Muchinga Province. The initiative, which aims to distribute trees to households and sensitize communities on the importance of tree planting, has taken an innovative approach by utilizing recycled plastic bottles as planters.

As part of the first planting cycle, 700 seedlings of citrus plants are being planted at Muchinga Corridors Zambia. This exercise not only contributes to afforestation efforts but also supports the campaign's tree distribution and sensitization programs. The use of plastic bottles as planters is a creative way to reduce plastic waste and promote environmental conservation.

The preparation of containers is also underway, and the exercise is expected to continue tomorrow from 10:00hrs at the Muchinga Corridors Zambia office.

The One Tree Per House campaign invites anyone interested in participating in this noble cause to join in tomorrow. This initiative is a great opportunity for individuals to contribute to environmental conservation and make a positive impact on their community.

By planting trees and reusing plastic bottles, the campaign is promoting a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship. We encourage everyone to support this initiative and join hands in making Nakonde a greener and cleaner place.

When: Tomorrow, 10:00hrs
Where: Muchinga Corridors Zambia office
Who: Open to anyone interested in participating
What to bring: Plastic bottles and a willingness to contribute to environmental conservation

Let's come together to make a difference and create a better future for our community!
