YOUTH INITIATIVE FOR SUSTAINABLE ACTION (YISA)

PUBLIC NOTICE: NEW LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENTS

Date: 29 April 2026

The Management and Executive Committee of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Action (YISA) are pleased to announce the following appointments to key leadership positions within the organisation.

These appointments reflect our continued commitment to strengthening institutional leadership, promoting effective governance, and advancing our mission of empowering young people to drive sustainable development and positive community transformation.

1. Appointment of Mr. Mwansa Davy

Mr. Mwansa Davy has been appointed as the Acting Publicity Secretary of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Action (YISA).

In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's public relations, communication strategies, media engagement, and the promotion of YISA's programmes, activities, and achievements.

We are confident that his dedication, creativity, and commitment will greatly enhance the visibility and public image of the organisation.

2. Appointment of Mr. Kabaso Reuben

Mr. Kabaso Reuben has been appointed as the Acting Vice President of Youth Initiative for Sustainable Action (YISA).

As Acting Vice President, he will support the President in providing strategic leadership, strengthening organisational governance, and ensuring the successful implementation of YISA's vision, mission, and objectives.

We trust that his leadership, experience, and passion for youth development will significantly contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.

3. Appointment of Mr. Lombe Lameck

Mr. Lombe Lameck has been appointed to a leadership position within Youth Initiative for Sustainable Action (YISA). Further details regarding his portfolio and responsibilities will be communicated in due course.

We are confident that he will bring valuable expertise, dedication, and innovative ideas to the organisation.

On this special occasion, Youth Initiative for Sustainable Action (YISA) proudly joins the nation in celebrating Youth Day under the inspiring theme “Rise and Soar.”
This theme calls upon every young person to rise above challenges, embrace opportunities, and soar to greater heights in leadership, innovation, and community development. The youth are the driving force of change, and through unity, determination, and positive action, we can build a better and more sustainable future for our communities.
As YISA, we encourage all young people to remain committed to education, creativity, entrepreneurship, and active participation in national development. Let us rise with courage, soar with vision, and work together to create lasting impact in our society.
