The education system in Zambia, like many other countries, faces a significant challenge in responding to the true demands of skills acquisition. The current system is more focused on theoretical knowledge, which often leaves graduates unprepared for the enterprise development . This mismatch between education and industry needs has resulted in a high unemployment rate among young people, with many struggling to find meaningful employment. The higher education system, in my opinion in particular, is dominated by degree and master's programs that prioritize theoretical knowledge over practical skills.
