ZAMRUS was deeply honored to join the Russian Embassy in commemorating the 81st Anniversary of Victory Day at the Russian House on Saturday, 9th May 2026 — a day of remembrance, unity, and celebration of peace, resilience, and shared history.

The event brought together distinguished guests from across Zambia’s diplomatic, political, and cultural spheres, including the Guest of Honor, Mr. Evans Muhanga, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, the Mayor of Lusaka, diplomats, Members of Parliament, and various political party leaders.

Adding a special cultural touch to the celebration were outstanding performances by talented guest singers Victoria Bobkova and Ekaterina Levitskaya from Kaliningrad, Russia, whose music beautifully reflected the spirit of friendship and cultural exchange between our nations.

Victory Day remains a significant occasion that honors the courage, sacrifice, and triumph of those who fought for peace during World War II. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of unity among nations and the preservation of peace for future generations.

As ZAMRUS, we are proud to have participated in such a meaningful celebration that strengthened the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and cultural appreciation between Zambia and Russia.

Vocal Masterclass with Russian Experts to Be Held in Lusaka

The Russian House in Lusaka invites musically talented Zambians to take part in a unique vocal masterclass, which will take place on May 8 at 12:00.

On a competitive basis, five participants will be selected to receive hands-on training from leading Russian vocal professionals:
Victoria Bobkova — soloist of the Kaliningrad Philharmonic
Ekaterina Levitskaya — Head of the “Pop Music Art” Department at the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Culture

The masterclass will last 2.5 to 3 hours, and participation is free of charge.

Two formats of participation are available:
1. Participant (selected through a competitive process; for musically talented individuals)
2. Audience member (open attendance)
