UPDATE ON SWAZ SIs – 11/09/2025
Dear Colleagues,
I trust this message finds you well. I am pleased to share that the SWAZ SiS have been cleared by the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services and are now with the Cabinet Office, awaiting inclusion on the agenda for Cabinet’s consideration. This represents the final stage of the process, and we remain hopeful that it will be concluded without delay.
Alongside this, we are reviewing the Social Workers’ Code of Ethics and the SWAZ Constitution, as well as developing the necessary administrative processes to ensure the seamless implementation of the SWAZ Act. In due course, we will also be submitting the Draft Rules for the Disciplinary Committee to the Office of the Chief Justice for approval.
Once these requirements are fulfilled, we will be ready to announce the date for an Elective AGM.
