Today, Little Assisi Special School proudly joined the global community in celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities under the inspiring theme “Fostering Disability-Inclusive Societies to Advance Social Progress.”
This theme reminds us that true development can only happen when every person regardless of ability is included, supported, and given the chance to participate fully in society. Inclusion is not just an act of kindness; it is a pathway to social progress, equality, and shared growth.
As a school, we are honoured to have taken part in this important celebration.Their participation is a powerful reminder that disability is not inability.
We extend our gratitude to our teachers, parents, caregivers, community partners, and all stakeholders who continue to stand with us in promoting awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. Your dedication helps build a society where children with disabilities are valued, respected, and empowered.
Let this day strengthen our commitment to creating environments where barriers are removed, opportunities are widened, and every person with a disability can thrive.
Together, let us foster a disability-inclusive society that advances social progress for all.
Happy International Day of Persons with Disabilities! 💙
