Do Not Be Deceived by S*x
S*x has deceived many women into believing they are loved.
A man can desire you intensely and still have no intention of building a future with you.
The problem is that s*x has a way of distorting reality. It creates a feeling of closeness that hasn't actually been earned and doesn’t exist. Suddenly, a few nights together start feeling like a relationship. A handful of sweet words sound like commitment. This is why you don’t understand when they stop calling or texting you after you gave up your body.
Chemistry often gets mistaken for character. But s*x is not proof of love.
Love is consistency.
Love is waiting.
Love is effort.
Love is consideration.
Love is showing up when there is nothing to gain.
Many women have stayed too long because they confused access with affection. They assumed that because a man wanted their body, he must also value their heart. Which is a lie!!!!
A man can enjoy your presence, pursue your body, and still not be prepared to choose you. Before you surrender your body, pay attention to his actions. Is he investing in you outside the bedroom? Is he intentional? Is he consistent? Is he building something with you?
Desire can make you feel special. All of us want to be desired but guess what Commitment proves that you are worth it. Worth the effort. Worth the communication. Worth the clarity. Worth the hustle!
