We were honored to welcome a delegation from the U.S. Embassy in Zambia, led by Deputy Public Affairs Officer Maxton Arcand. The visit was an encouraging moment to share and reflect on our work with women and young people, and to showcase the impact of our programs in empowering communities.

We appreciate the engagement and interest in the work we do at Njira Skills Youth Training Centre.

Last week our LearnServe Zambia 2025–2026 Fellows had the rare privilege of being inspired by two incredible guest mentors!

πŸŽ™οΈ Veteran broadcaster Samuel Machishi shared his powerful journey, from picking food in public dustbins to hosting presidential functions. A true testament that determination can rewrite any story.

🌟 We were also joined by Brian Phiri, who opened up about his rise from a humble home in Mtendere Compound to becoming a child star on national TV, featuring in Kabanana and navigating the challenges of fame at a young age.

The session was nothing short of transformational. The Fellows walked away motivated, encouraged, and believing more than ever that greatness can grow from anywhere.
