The Global Empathy Project GEP is more than an organisation—it's a movement. A call to action for each of us to become architects of a more empathetic society.

Empowering empathy through animal rescue, education, sustainability, and fostering human-animal-nature connections. The Global Empathy Project is more than an organisation—it's a movement.

HELLO FROM STORY WEAVER
Hello! I’m Patricia Schonstein, the Story Weaver at the Global Empathy Project.
I write poems and stories for children which inspire them to care for animals and the Earth.

We have a feisty, canine Ambassador of Kindness called PHOEBE.
As a puppy, she survived cruel, treatment meted out by children.
They were poorly educated little people, instructed by their father towards cruelty rather than care.

One could say: ‘They knew no better’.

It is our mission to teach children to know better.
“Better be kind.
Better be caring.
Better be respectful of the other creatures of the Earth.”

This photo is of me in Namibia where I was listening to cicadas singing and watching a lizard basking on a rock.

In England, one woman quietly changed the lives of hundreds, four legs at a time. Camberley Kate, seen here in 1962, devoted her life to rescuing stray dogs, ultimately caring for more than 600. Her legacy is a testament to resilience, compassion, and the impact of one determined soul. 💖

Our rescue centre aims to treat animals rescued from this cruel trade both medically and emotionally, to educate the public, and to rehome animals into loving environments.

This effort forms part of our ongoing work in empathy-driven projects dedicated to ending cruelty and promoting sustainability initiatives that protect animals and people from harm. 💛

👉 You can help us continue this vital work - click the link in our bio to donate or get involved. Every act of compassion counts. 🙏
