At CRZ, we are dedicated to equipping young people with the tools they need to lead and transform their communities Copper Rose is Zambian woman or girl. As delicate and beautiful as a rose and as essential and precious as copper is to Zambia's economy. Here you will meet many women and girls going through many different social issues which hinder them from living to their potential and being the copper rose they are meant to be. It will highlight most of these issues so that we can use this understanding to generate solutions, empower and educate.

In 2025, 45,162 adolescents and young people were reached directly with integrated HIV/TB, SRH, and Mental Health services and information. 💚

This is more than a number it represents young people reached, conversations started, knowledge shared, and lives supported.

Shaping the Future of Adolescent Health in Zambia 🇿🇲

With funding from the World Health Organisation (WHO), Copper Rose Zambia (with support from Sida in partnership with Save the Children) and the Alliance for Alliance for Accountability Advocates Zambia (AAAZ) (with support from Plan International under the Space to Lead Project) partnered with the Ministry of Health, Zambia MOH) for a Stakeholder Engagement Workshop held on the 14th to 18th September 2026 at the Mika Convention Centre. The workshop marked a pivotal step toward Zambia's next Adolescent Health Strategic Plan.

The workshop launched Draft 0 of the 2027–2031 National Adolescent Health Strategic Plan while also facilitating a Rapid Technical Review of the outgoing 2022–2026 strategic plan. It brought together young people, government, UN agencies, civil society organisations and development partners to reflect on progress, identify gaps and discuss priorities for the next strategy.

The process placed young people’s voices, experiences and priorities at the heart of shaping Zambia’s future adolescent health agenda.

🎓 Celebrating 135 Young Leaders

Yesterday, Copper Rose Zambia(CRZ) had the honour of celebrating 135 young people in Ndola at their graduation under the Going Beyond Project, implemented by Copper Rose Zambia in partnership with Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) and the Mastercard Foundation.

This milestone represents what is possible when young people are given access to skills, mentorship, leadership development and opportunities to grow. Through the Going Beyond Project, we continue to support young people to build confidence, develop practical skills and take meaningful steps towards shaping their futures and contributing to their communities.

Speaking at the graduation, Dr Natasha Salifyanji Kaoma, CEO of Copper Rose Zambia, shared three powerful messages with the graduates:

“Redirection is important when you have a specific destination. Value the people around you because they may become your next opportunity. And never give up because giving up is not a solution in life.”

The graduates also heard from Mr Mweemba, a trained teacher, businessman and CEO, who encouraged them to listen to their hearts when choosing a skill, pursue what they value and build their futures around something they genuinely love.

To all 135 graduates congratulations🎓 Your graduation is not the end of the journey; it is the beginning of new possibilities, opportunities and impact.

We are grateful to St. Francesco Antonio Fasani Catholic Church for hosting us and helping us celebrate this important milestone.

At CRZ , we believe that investing in young people is an investment in stronger communities, empowered leaders and a future filled with possibilities. ❤️
