We are a group of dedicated young acrobats based in Zambia's vibrant capital city: Lusaka. We work with young people (aged 5-25) from a very poor background, living in Lusaka's notorious compounds, and teach them to channel their energy into something positive. Sadly, many in their situation turn to crime, and/or get involved with drink and drugs as a way to get by in life. We offer the chance to
get involved with something positive and creative. We teach unique skills and create opportunities for talented youngsters to develop and to showcase their abilities. With a collection of high-profile performances under our belt, in Zambia and beyond, we can safely claim the title of Zambia's No.1 acrobats! Alongside the Barefeet Theatre; we have taken our show to South Africa and the UK, performed for United Nations secretary general: Ban-ki Moon, entertained Kenneth Kaunda at the opening of a local library, taken the stage alongside Chinese national acrobats at the opening of a new government complex, and we have recently been awarded a wild card for Zambia's Got Talent! If you would like to book a performance, please contact our director: Bright Kalutwa, at: [email protected] for a full quotation. Profits from bookings will go back into running workshops for the acrobats of the future! For more information please don't hesitate to ask. Zikomo kwambili!
