JSC Footsteps

JSC Footsteps’ establishment was motivated by the overarching societal needs in the Zambian underprivileged society. The base of this organization holds up four pillars of support that we believe are the most vulnerable and important issues. The first pillar is Education. There are many children in government schools in Lusaka that require a lot of assistance with basic necessities in order to be

able to attend school. We believe that every child from Primary, Secondary and University deserve a chance to be educated. The second pillar is Supporting Orphanages. JSC Footsteps is helping orphanages around Lusaka with specific needs that these homes require, such as clothes for the children, food to feed them all with, and toys for them to play with. The third Pillar is Health Care. Big hospitals in Lusaka such as UTH have mothers shelters are in serious need of help. We are helping these shelters because they hold women that are there to take care of their sick families in hospital. We believe that these caring mothers deserve some help with their own lives as they spend most of their days helping others. Our last pillar of support is Women Empowerment. We believe that women in Lusaka need to be aware of how to get further in their careers and how to place themselves in the fast moving business world. We want women to be encouraged and literate on applying for bank loans to start a company or going for interviews and making a good impression. We believe that more women deserve to be in the business sector and are looking to help them get there.
