YMCA Lusaka We believe in young people and we exist for the purpose of empowering young people for the African Renaissance. We move Youth from Subjects to Citizens.

The YMCA of Lusaka Metropolitan was established in 1986 by the National Council of Zambia YMCA (NCZYMCA). The Association is registered through the Zambian Governments registrar of Societies Certificate no ORS/102/35/425. YMCA is a membership based organization with current membership of over 450 and is based in Lusaka District of Lusaka Province. The Association has an outreach coverage extending

to communities of Chilenje, Libala, Kabwata,. Misisi, John Laing, Chawama, Kalingalinga, Matero, Chongwe, Chinyunyu, Shibuyunji areas etc. Our vision:
Empowering young people for the African Renaissance. Our Mission:
Committed to the creation of opportunities for the development of potential boys and girls, men and women through rendering of services that enhance the development of mind, body and spirit so as to bring about improved quality of life.
