VISION
The vision of God at Work for Kids is to make a positive difference in the world and change the world, one heart at a time. One heart changed and activated to live in love for others is a whole change and therefore, a difference made. To show that each person living their life or doing their part for others, can make the world a better place. As Christians, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
, has called, ordained, and commissioned us to go forth “into the entire world and preach the gospel to every creature,“ (Mark 16:15, Mathew 28:19). We are his disciples, dedicated to making his name famous and loving the world, in direct response to His call in our lives (Luke 9:23). We believe our greatest opportunity for contribution to the delivering of the salvation of our fellow man, through the ministry of activating the gift of greater love in each heart to be a blessing to those in destitute need, those lost in the spiritual darkness of this world and encouraging and strengthening others to do the same. MISSION
To serve the orphans and vulnerable children of the N'gombe compound outside of Lusaka, Zambia. By providing food, shelter, medical care, and loving parental support and guidance. OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION
-Parental Care and Guidance
Shelter, food, clothing and guidance provided to Orphans and vulnerable children (OVC – Former street children, orphans, abandoned and neglected babies).
-Health Care
Provide good health care (both preventive as well as treatment) for the OVC’s
-Education
Provide good quality education both formal and informal for the OVC’s
-Rehabilitation and Reintegration
Rehabilitation and reintegration of OVC’S into society. HERE AND NOW
Currently God at Work for Kids is the home of 30 children, and approximately 10 other children come to receive food and support from the organization.
