From uncertainty to opportunity πŸ”πŸ₯š

In Chirundu District, Precious Kagodola is building a brighter future one egg at a time. After collecting eggs at the chicken centre supported by the YILWASH project, her smile reflects more than just a good harvest; it tells a story of resilience, growth, and empowerment.

Through skills training and support, Precious has turned poultry farming into a reliable source of income, helping her support her household and plan for tomorrow. Read more ….. https://zambia.adra.cloud/from-uncertainty-to-opportunity/

Listening, Learning and Leading Together

As 2025 comes to a close, one thing stands out. Our impact across Zambia did not happen because of us alone. It happened because of partnership.

Local organisations are leading change every day, strengthening livelihoods, responding to climate shocks, advancing justice and standing with communities facing inequality and violence. We work through partners because real change is built locally, by those who know their communities best.

This year, our partners told us something powerful. Trust is strong. Collaboration works. Voices are heard. But they also reminded us of the pressure they are under as shrinking aid leaves communities with growing needs.

We are listening.

As we step into the 2025–2029 strategic period, we are committing to deeper, more equitable partnerships, stronger capacity support, shared learning and clearer recognition of local leadership.

Even in a tightening aid landscape, partnership remains our greatest strength. And together, we are walking forward with courage and hope.
