A year ago, I took a small step and opened this page for Hikma Community Aid, then known as Al Hikma Foundation - Zambia. Today, I'm reflecting on the journey so far, and I'm grateful for the growth and lessons.

As I look back, I'm reminded that this journey started with 1 person - myself. I'm humbled to have been joined later by an amazing team of volunteers who have dedicated their time and effort to help make our vision a reality.

Together, we've achieved a major milestone which happens to be our official registration as Hikma Community AID in Zambia. And, to match our new status, we are going to update our page to reflect our official name. It's a big step forward, and we feel pride in what we've achieved so far.

We hope to partner with other charity organizations in Zambia in future, that share our passion to serve the community. I'm thankful to each and every one of our volunteers for their hard work and commitment. 🥂 to the future!

Our representative had an incredible time working with the Guide Us Foundation team during their visit to CHAINAMA Hills Hospital, Zambia. Although we didn't capture many moments, this one photo says it all, compassion, community and sadaq. Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible!
