Prayer for single mothers

"Heavenly Father, we lift up every single mother to You today. You see the late nights, the heavy responsibilities, and the quiet sacrifices carried out in love.

Lord, please grant them supernatural strength when they feel weary, wisdom to make the right decisions for their children, and peace that calms every anxious thought. Provide their financial, emotional, and practical needs, and remind them that they are never alone. Surround them with a supportive community, protect their homes, and cover their children with Your enduring love and guidance.

In Jesus' name, Amen🙏

Children learn to celebrate , appreciate and embrace that mother who stood by your side and chose to keep you, when others disposed just after birth, aborted and killed,but that brave mother chose to keep you, love you and fought battles in silence.

Dear BHSM..,. please withhold my id,I am a lady aged 34 yrs,a mother of two children,I just escaped from marriage for fear of death.
I got married to my highschool sweetheart,and our marriage was so good,we were married for 11yrs, our early stage of marriage was good,not until I was pregnant for our second child,that my husband changed into a monster,he would beat me up ,drag me outside naked and started beating me, with people watching,I became the laughingstock of my neighborhood, such that I would be embarrassed to Walk during the day.
I tried on several occasions to leave,but people would encourage me that he would change,but as years passed by his behavior was becoming worse, he started drinking heavily,stopped providing,and still beat me up for not finding the food he didn't leave.
One night, when I had to say enough is enough,was when he had to beat me up when I was 7 months pregnant for our second child,that I collapsed and wake up from the clinic,I have bruises all over my body, such that the doctor who was attending to me said, this is too much mum,why do you want to die young, take this man to the police.
I did take him to the police,his family started calling me insulting and shouting at me, saying which women who's gone through (alangizi), would take her husband to the police over a marital dispute,I was hurt because these are people I mostly approach for their sons behavior,but they didn't make any efforts to help us.
They helped their son to come out of the police cells, so I ran away from his house for fear of my life, that man can kill me, please people of God help me,I have no job or any place to take care of my children.

Single mum,no matter how hard life push you to, you can always choose better alternative,
Put a child under adoption, never think of killing an innocent child

KABWE High Court Judge Irene Mbewe has imposed a five years imprisonment sentence on 26-year-old woman of Mkushi who killed her daughter of 10-days and buried her in a shallow grave.

Judge Mbewe imposed the simple imprisonment sentence of Charitable Mulenga who pleaded guilty to infanticide.

“It is unfortunate you took the life of a 10-day-old baby,” the Judge said when passing judgement stating the court acknowledged her anxious and distressed condition when she fell pregnant which her boyfriend denied responsibility and had two other children to care for.

Judge Mbewe said the court also noted postpartum depression in Mulenga but she could still have made the right decision and had alternatives such as offering her baby for adoption.
