JCI Zambia held a productive stakeholder engagement with the National Council of Students Union (NACOSU) President, Mr. edgarsilwimba, together with the 2026 JCI Vice President sandraefemuaye and the 2026 JCI Zambia National President Sydney S Ng'andu following the successful JCI Zambia One day Leadership Academy.
The engagement focused on strengthening collaboration in youth leadership development, student empowerment, active citizenship and creating opportunities for young people across learning institutions in Zambia.
We are encouraged by the participation of students during the One day Leadership Academy and remain committed to working closely with student leadership bodies and stakeholders in building a generation of empowered, responsible and impactful young leaders.

Today, Our 2026 National President Sydney S Ng'andu together with the 2026 JCI Vice President from Nigeria 🇳🇬 Sandra Ekene Efemuaye paid a courtesy call to the Ministry of Youth Director and team.
The engagement focused on strengthening partnerships, youth empowerment, leadership development and creating sustainable opportunities for young people in Zambia.
The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration between government institutions and youth-led organizations in shaping active citizens and impactful future leaders.

A big and heartfelt thank you to the Ministry of Youth Sports and Arts for the continued support, encouragement and commitment toward youth empowerment and leadership development in Zambia.

JCI Zambia successfully hosted the One Day Leadership Academy under the theme: ‘Empowering Young Leaders for Sustainable Impact.’
The academy brought together over 20 young leaders, students and professionals for a full day of interactive learning, networking, mentorship and leadership development sessions focused on communication, teamwork, personal growth and active citizenship.
Participants engaged in impactful sessions including:
