MWANA MEDIA aims to produce television programmes which proclaim the gospel,
disciple children to be followers of Jesus and address health and social issues. Empowering children to reach their potential through education will change their lives, community, society and nation for the better. Although we are presently a small ministry based in southern Africa, our dream is that one day every child w
ill have the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ so that they may believe in Him, call upon His Name and be saved. This dream will be fulfilled as we develop the work of dubbing the programmes into different languages and by using different spheres of media including radio, internet and satellite. MWANA MISSION seeks to bring the gospel and discipleship training to children through weekly after-school missions. Working alongside local churches, the missions will aim to reach unchurched children in the “high density” communities where there is widespread suffering due to extreme poverty,
unemployment and very poor living conditions. Teams of trained children’s workers will minister to children through Bible - based teaching, puppets, singing, dancing,
memory verses and games. Mwana Mission has the potential to replicate its weekly meetings in many high density areas, cities and nations. This will be achieved by recruiting other missionaries or local African children’s workers to take responsibility for the running of the mission
MWANA ACTION is committed to helping children in charitable ways. In many African countries parents are not able to pay school fees and, for those who are orphaned or destitute, the situation seems even more hopeless. Mwana Action is committed to helping such children to access an education. Ten percent of all donations to Mwana Ministries will go directly to support orphaned and vulnerable children by providing the necessary funds for school education.
