Dear Colleagues,
Warm greetings.
We are pleased to inform you that GIZ, CARE, CAADP Non State Actors (CNG), and partners have launched a Mapping and Needs Assessment of Non-State Actors (NSAs) engaged in CAADP and the upcoming Kampala implementation phase (2026–2035) in 6 countries –Cameroon, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, Togo and Zambia.
This exercise aims to strengthen coordination, representation, and capacity of NSAs participating in key CAADP processes, including Biennial Reviews (BRs), Joint Sector Reviews (JSRs), and National and Regional Agricultural Investment Plans (NAIPs/RAIPs). The findings will help identify capacity gaps, enhance inclusion of women and youth, and inform targeted interventions to support more effective and accountable agrifood systems governance.
We kindly request you to complete the online survey using the link below:
https://forms.gle/WdkVAAbfyrTPRk1e7
Deadline for submission: Thursday, 5 March 2026 at 11:59 PM (EAT).
In addition, we would greatly appreciate your indication (within the survey) of whether you would be willing to be contacted for further engagement through:
• In-depth Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
• Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)
• The final Virtual Validation Workshop
These consultations will provide an opportunity to deepen insights, validate findings, and strengthen collective ownership of the recommendations.
Your timely response is highly appreciated and will ensure your organization’s perspectives are reflected in the final analysis and recommendations.
We also kindly request that you forward this email and the survey link to other relevant NSAs operating within the six focus countries only i.e., Cameroon, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria, Togo and Zambia.
Broad participation is essential to ensure the mapping is inclusive, representative, and reflective of diverse NSA voices across national contexts.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and continued commitment to strengthening CAADP implementation.
