THE VISIONARY AFRICAN WOMEN SUMMIT ZAMBIA 2026 is convening in Lusaka as a landmark platform dedicated to amplifying the voices, ventures, and vision of African women across business and natural resources.
PURPOSE & FOCUS
This summit is about women: their leadership, innovation, and economic impact. It brings together entrepreneurs, executives, policymakers, investors, and change-makers to outpour strategic vision for Africa's next decade of growth. The core agenda centers on 2 pillars:
1. Business Sector Transformation Scaling women-led enterprises through access to capital, markets, trade partnerships, and digital innovation. We’ll unpack practical roadmaps for growth, resilience, and cross-border expexpexpansion
2. Women in Mining & Natural Resources: In partnership with the Multi-Purpose Women in Mining Association of Zambia, the summit places women at the center of mining value chains. Discussions will cover licensing, beneficiation, opportunities that shift women from the periphery to decision-making tables.
A PAN-AFRICAN GATHERING
Vision becomes impact when countries collaborate. Delegations and thought leaders will converge from key mining and business economies across the continent, including:
SOUTH AFRICA– Advanced mining finance, industrial policy, and women-led supplier development
GHANA– Artisanal and small-scale mining formalization, gold value addition
NIGERIA– Diversification beyond oil, agribusiness, fintech, and women in trade
TANZANIA– Gemstone, gold, and critical minerals, plus regional trade corridors
and Other countries like ZIMBABWE, CAMERON AND RUSIA
where also part of this massive Event.
Zambia– Host nation, spotlighting copper, energy transition minerals, and women in mining leadership
Each nation will present country visions, share policy insights, and forge bilateral partnerships. The goal is a unified African agenda where women are not just participants, but architects of investment and development strategy.
*SUMMIT OUTCOMES*
Attendees can expect high-level panels, B2B matchmaking, investor pitch sessions, masterclasses on governance and ESG, and a Women in Mining showcase hosted by our official partner. The summit will conclude with a Zambia Declaration — a collective vision document outlining commitments for women’s economic inclusion across business and extractive industries.
This is more than an event. It is a movement to reposition African women as visionaries, investors, and owners of the sectors shaping our future.
