📚 Learning Without Limits — EduCARE in Action!

Our team recently visited Antioch South Christian Community School in Kanakantapa, Chongwe District to roll out our EduCARE Program; an extended education support initiative providing material support, mentorship and continued monitoring to resource-deprived pupils.

At this school, we officially onboarded 6 children (3 girls, 3 boys), all in Grade 6, who will now receive our full support, including mentorship all the way through to the end of secondary education. 🎓

We also extended support to the rest of the Grade 6 class; 28 additional pupils, providing books, pens, and pencils to help them all learn without limits.

To everyone who made this possible: thank you for being true EduCARE Champions! 💚 Your generosity is changing lives, one child at a time.

Would you like to be an EduCARE Champion too? Pick one of our narrative stories and support a child's journey through school. Together, we can make sure no child is left behind.

Strengthening Safeguarding. Strengthening Communities.

The Progressive Action Foundation was privileged to participate in a Safeguarding Workshop convened by Restless Development Zambia under the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab. The workshop focused on strengthening the safeguarding policies, practices, and institutional capacities of youth-led organizations, with particular emphasis on Safeguarding and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse - PSHEA.

Representing the Foundation were Dr. Sekeela Munkondya and Dr. Tinozye Nkhata, our Project Officers and Safeguarding Experts, who joined fellow youth leaders in advancing practical approaches to creating safer, more accountable, and inclusive spaces for all.

For us, safeguarding is not simply a policy requirement ,it is a core organizational value. As an organization working at the intersection of health, education, and climate action, we regularly engage with children, young people, and other vulnerable populations. This responsibility demands that we continually strengthen our safeguarding systems to ensure that every individual we serve is protected, respected, and empowered.

This commitment is reflected across our flagship initiatives, including the EduCARE Program, which provides educational support to vulnerable children, and our Tisamale Open-Air Clinics, where our team of volunteer doctors delivers free non-communicable disease (NCD) screening and health education to underserved communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Restless Development Zambia and the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab for investing in the capacity of youth organizations and reinforcing the importance of safeguarding as a foundation for ethical, impactful, and people-centred development.

Together, we remain committed to building communities where every person can participate, learn, and thrive in environments that are safe, inclusive, and free from harm.

🌍Together for Health. Stand with Science🩺

Today, we join the global community in reaffirming a simple but powerful truth: health is a shared responsibility, and science is our strongest foundation.

At the heart of our work under SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, we are committed to ensuring that no one is left behind, especially in underserved and vulnerable communities. Through our Tisamale Open Air Clinics – Health with Impact, we take essential health services directly to the people, offering free basic medical tests and promoting early detection, prevention and awareness.

Because when we stand with science, we save lives.
When we work together, we build healthier communities.

🤝 Let’s continue to champion evidence-based health solutions.
💙 Let’s continue to show up for one another.

Together for Health. Always.

Progress requires collaboration. Impact happens when we act together. Your support goes a long way in restoring hope and dignity for children living on the edge of vulnerability.

And community action matters because lasting change only begins when we collectively take responsibility for the wellbeing of those around us.

We believe that real change begins where the need is greatest. Every day, every moment our programs are reaching individuals and communities living on the very edge of vulnerability; where access to health services is limited and educational opportunities are often out of reach.

This work is not just about services, it is about hope, inclusion and ensuring that no one is left behind. We believe that together, we can bridge the gaps, strengthen communities and create lasting impact where it matters most. 💙

International Day of Education🌍📚

Today, we celebrate the power of young people not just as learners, but as active partners in shaping inclusive, dignified and equitable education systems.

To commemorate this year’s International Day of Education, we are proud to launch the EduCARE Program in the coming weeks.

EduCARE removes everyday material barriers to learning by equipping vulnerable children with essential school supplies so they can learn with dignity and confidence.

We believe that when young people are empowered and supported, they don’t just access education; they help transform it.
