Why it's critical to thrive on your already existing networks than attaching a fee to service delivery before you become an expert.

Leveraging networks through strategic partnerships allows your organization to deliver services more effectively without imposing fees, maximizing impact via shared resources, expertise, and reach before scaling to chargeable models.

📌Networking Advantages.

Resource amplification: ✔️

Tap partners' funding, volunteers, and infrastructure to expand programs at low or no cost, reducing overhead and sustaining operations.

Broader reach and credibility: ✔️

Gain instant access to new audiences, donors, and markets through allies' networks, enhancing visibility without solo marketing expenses.

Knowledge and innovation sharing:✔️

Collaborate on skills, strategies, and best practices to strengthen services and build resilience pre-monetization.

📌Pre-Expertise Strategy

Young organizations gain traction by prioritizing alliances with complementary experienced organizations, corporates for tech, peers for joint advocacy, fostering mutual growth without service charges. This builds a robust foundation of influence and sustainability, positioning the organization as an expert ready for fee-based delivery later.

The global theme for this year's 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is "UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls".

This theme, set by the UN Secretary-General's UNiTE campaign, highlights the urgent need to address technology-facilitated gender-based violence, such as online harassment, stalking, image-based abuse, and the use of AI for non-consensual deepfakes.

Key goals for the 2025 campaign include:

Calling on governments to pass and enforce laws that criminalize digital violence.

Urging tech companies to ensure platform safety and hold perpetrators accountable.

Encouraging individuals to speak out and challenge harmful online norms.

Savings-led microfinance is a financial approach that encourages individuals, particularly those with low incomes, to save regularly, and then enables them to access small loans based on their savings. Here are key tips about savings-led microfinance:

Encourage regular savings contributions from members during group meetings (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly) which builds a pool of funds that members can access as credit at low interest rates.

Ensure members benefit from credit support linked to their savings, fostering self-sufficiency and productive use of loans.

Maintain transparency and strong record-keeping systems like simple passbooks and good management information systems to track savings and withdrawals.

Build financial discipline and change spending habits by counseling members to reduce unnecessary expenditures and increase savings.

Use group dynamics to promote active participation in meetings and financial decisions, as members’ savings are pooled together.

Facilitate linkages between savings groups and formal financial institutions so members can qualify for larger loans based on their savings history.

Manage withdrawal policies carefully, requiring approval for large withdrawals and encouraging savings retention for specific purposes.

Savings-led microfinance promotes resilience by shifting money from unsafe informal storage into investment or lending within groups, thus providing dividends on savings.

Successful groups often have strong leadership, honest and efficient staff, and remain profitable and well-capitalized to support their members effectively.

In practice, this approach helps poor households build useful lump sums for emergencies, investments, or income-generating activities, while avoiding excessive indebtedness.
