Neighbour's Friend is a Social enterprise that was formed with the objective of reducing Zambia's escalating poverty levels. While macroeconomic indicators are reportedly improving, there is crushing poverty at household level. Main objective is to implement programs that employ a Self-help approach to poverty reduction and development. the Programmes are aimed at raising people's living standards
at the household level through self-reliant development undertaking by participatory strategies, People's initiatives, voluntary participation, self-determination, concerted action, self-awareness and self-realisation are the focal point of Neighbour's Friend . Neighbour's Friend works with community groups in rural and urban areas with diverse membership, these include:

- Youth Entrepreneurs

- Male Headed Households
- People with Disabilities

- Community based NGOs
To effectively support 'People Led Development' Neighbour's Friend makes a concerted effort to assist communities understand their unique 'State of Development'.
