Mike’s New Generation Vision is proud to partner with the The Dr. Rozious Siatwambo Foundation to make the 2026 Boys to Men Conference possible. This means a lot to us.

This conference comes at the right time. Too many boys are being left behind. You see it in our communities. More young men are turning to drugs and harmful habits. That is a sign that something is missing and that is why Dr Rozious Siatwambo started his foundation.

As he like to say “bane boys need guidance. They need mentors. They need spaces that shape them into responsible men.”

At Mike’s New Generation Vision, we care about the boy child. We see the gap, and we are stepping in.

This partnership is just the beginning. We are ready to do more work together. We are looking forward to deeper engagement and real impact.

The boy child matters. And we are committed to that cause.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵

For us at Mike’s New Generation Vision, it is powerful to see a girl child gain knowledge about her menstrual health. When girls understand their bodies, they feel confident, informed, and in control of their health.

The girls are able to;
✅Understand what menstruation is and why it happens
✅Manage their hygiene properly and safely
✅Reduce fear, shame, and stigma
✅Stay in school with confidence
✅Seek medical help when something is not normal

When girls receive accurate information, they make better health decisions. They avoid myths and misinformation that often cause anxiety or discrimination.

For our volunteers, supporting menstrual health education is meaningful work. It allows us to create safe spaces where girls can ask questions freely, learn without judgment, and feel respected. Seeing a girl walk away informed and confident reminds us why this work matters.

When you educate a girl about her menstrual health, you protect her dignity, support her education, and strengthen her future.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀

Teaching children about mental health and the dangers of drug abuse at an early stage helps them grow with awareness, confidence, and good decision-making skills.

𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼:
✅Understand their emotions and express them in healthy ways
✅Recognize stress, sadness, or anxiety and seek help
✅Build self-esteem and resilience
✅Avoid misinformation about drugs and substance use

Learn the real risks of drug abuse, including addiction, poor performance in school, and long-term health problems

When you teach children early, you give them tools to handle peer pressure. Many young people experiment with substances because they lack accurate information or support. Early conversations reduce curiosity driven by ignorance.

Mental health education also reduces stigma. Children learn that it is okay to talk about feelings and ask for support. This encourages open communication with parents, teachers, and caregivers.

Prevention starts with knowledge. When you educate children early about mental health and drug abuse, you protect their future and strengthen your community.

Boy child involvement is key to building healthy families and strong communities. When boys are actively engaged in education, health programs, and positive mentorship, they grow into responsible men who respect themselves and others.

𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼:
✅ Promote gender equality and mutual respect
✅ Prevent violence, abuse, and harmful behaviors
✅ Encourage responsible decision-making
✅ Improve mental health awareness and emotional expression
✅ Support positive role models in communities

When boys learn early about respect, accountability, and healthy relationships, they are less likely to engage in risky behaviors such as substance abuse or violence. They also become allies in protecting girls and promoting safe communities.

Investing in the boy child does not reduce focus on the girl child. It strengthens both. Balanced development leads to healthier relationships, stronger leadership, and sustainable community growth.

Every child matters. When you involve boys in positive conversations and programs, you help shape a better future for everyone.
