Here’s Clara Ryan Paschal who is one of our teachers teaching women and girls how to sew and make their own reusable pads. Together with Fridah Mumba our team lead -Twende Women’s empowerment projects and bringing learning and play to our kiddies at the Cancer Diseases Hospital.

And it all started with the mothers and girls at our children’s cancer learning center. Thank you for your support.

The Pamoja approach is all about learning through play, creating a very joyful atmosphere! And alongside the regular teaching activities, the centre has an outreach programme that...

Thank you to British International Primary School - BIPS for your support and love to all we do at Twende Education For All children’s learning centers at UTH.❤️

Dear Parents, we are delighted to report that the door profits from our Nativity Play raised K23,000 for Twende Education for All. I am sharing as much as I can. Please share too. I often wonder why something so important is often sidelined by our government, organizations and NGO's who are the same ones that like to 'bring this out' whenever it suits them. Leaning on external support, donor money and brains, yet we have it right here in Zambia.
Makes you wonder and question.... but we know why.

Let’s be honest. Girls are missing school because they don’t have sanitary pads. Girls are using unsafe alternatives. Girls are carrying this quietly, with dignity—but without support. This shouldn’t be their reality. 1,000,000 girls = 1,000,000 reusable sanitary pad packs. This May, we laun...

Fridah Mumba and I spent the Youth Day holidays at Chalokwa village, Siavonga district facilitating the 'Green Pad Flow Project' workshop. Another goup of young schoolgoing girls, teachers and women from the village learned how to make reusable sanitary pads. We all know by now that lack of menstrual pads is a major reason young girls miss up to 46 days of school each year. Period shaming and poverty is happening and needs to stop.
What are you doing about it?
