Some of the highlights and activities that EITA and the Team from Kenya and Tanzania had during the Learning Exchange program held in Solwezi and kalumbila over the past week.
The Team had a privilege of visiting the two chiefs of the Provice from the two districts, Chief Mumene and Musele , The Town Clerk for a courtesy call visit. The district council office and a tour guide at Kansanshi Mines. EITA Zambia was honorned to have hosted the Team and looks forward to more learning Exchange taking place.

We are excited to have chief Mumena and Musele participate in the up coming 'Capetown Mining Indaba in South Africa this coming week through partnership with Resolve one of our partners.The local partners on the ground joining the delegation include the Lumwana Community Trust as well as the Trident foundation.We shall be show casing EITA work on multi stakeholders engagements as well as how a local pressure group can work with mining companies through participatory and inclusive community engagement .
