📚HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY!

Basic Education and Literacy is one of The Rotary Foundation’s seven Areas of Focus, reflecting Rotary’s commitment to strengthening education, improving literacy and creating opportunities for communities around the world. 🌍💙💛

Today, the Rotary Club of Kusinta proudly celebrates the teachers who bring this mission to life every day — educating, mentoring, inspiring and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

Every lesson taught and every learner empowered takes us closer to stronger, more informed and resilient communities.

To all teachers, thank you for shaping minds and transforming lives.

Happy Teachers’ Day! 📚✨

EMPOWERING GIRLS THROUGH MENSTRUAL HEALTH SUPPORT - A SUCCESS! đź©·

Healthy Girls | Brighter Futures | Stronger Communities

What an impactful afternoon at Kabulonga Girls Secondary School!

The ACI Zambia Women in Global Markets Committee in partnership with Rotary District 9210 Lusaka Presidents successfully hosted a menstrual health support outreach on 25th September 2026.

The Rotary Club of Kusinta was proudly represented by PAG Suzzana.

We were honoured to make a donation through the Rotary District 9210 Lusaka Presidents Fund, represented by President Funwell Malake of Lusaka Central, President Moffat Zulu of Nkwazi Lusaka, President Kabulo Ngoma of Kusinta, President Tamara Nachizya of Palisa and President Chanje C. Makayi of Maluba.

The highlight was an interactive and empowering training on making reusable sanitary pads and maintaining good menstrual hygiene, facilitated by the amazing *Whisper a Dream Foundation*, followed by a very engaging Q&A with the girls.

Thank you to all the Presidents, ACI Zambia, Whisper a Dream Foundation, and the management of Kabulonga Girls for making this possible.

Because when you empower a girl, you empower a whole community!

What a fulfilling day!

Our Rotary Club of Kusinta team visited Kapete Clinic for a needs assessment, joined by the energetic team from Rotaract Club of Wye Valley. đź’™

It was inspiring to assess how we can better support the clinic and the community it serves.

We wrapped up the day with great fellowship at Grandaddy’s — good food, great company, and even greater purpose.

Together we serve! 🤝

Inspiring the Next Generation of Service Leaders
What a wonderful visit to our Interact Club of St Ignatius College! ❤️
Our New Generations Director, President Elect Nominee Bwalya paid a courtesy visit to St Ignatius College.
It was inspiring to spend time with such enthusiastic, vibrant and engaging young leaders. Their energy, curiosity and eagerness to participate reminded us just how important it is to nurture the next generation of service-minded leaders.
We are excited to see this club grow, serve and become even more involved in the Rotary family.
The future of service is bright!
