Matters of faith and the worship of the True and Living God need no defence. The three Hebrews Boys, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego told king Nebuchadnezzar, we can't bow down to your image and "we do not need to defend ourselves..." They risked their lives for God and God proved Himself as God. "Let God be God."

Deuteronomy 28:15 However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

According to the Bible, every action is predictable. Obedience attracts blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) while disobedience attracts curses (Deuteronomy 28:15-68). Therefore, there is no need for a prophetic word, the way we live both in public and secret determines what we'll receive from God.

THE PREDICTABILITY OF THE WORD OF GOD
"If you are WILLING and OBEDIENT, you will eat the best from the land; BUT IF you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken" (Isaiah 1:19-20).

Matthew 26:73 - After a little while, the bystanders came up and said to Peter, You certainly are one of them too, for even your accent betrays you (AMP).

Jesus Christ spent approximately three and half years with His Disciples. During this time He influenced them from fishing fish to fishing men. But one other influence mentioned in the passage above is, HE INFLUENCED THEIR SPEECH.

Peter was caught by his accent. His accent or speech indicated that he has been with Jesus Christ or he is one of the Disciples. KJV says "...for thy speech betrayeth thee".

THE SABBATH REFLECTION
How is my accent? Does it sound like Christ followers?

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 If you fully obey the LORD your God...

Deuteronomy 28:1 starts with "IF". If is a conjuction used to talk about a condition. There are conditions attached to the Blessings of God found in Deuteronomy 28:1-14. "The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. IF you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom" (Deuteronomy 28:13).

TODAY'S TRUTH
God has no problem with blessing us (His Children), but His problem is our disobedience (failure to meet His Condition).
