The following is the Mission Statement of Zambia Peer-Educators for Civic, Citizenship Education and Revolution Skil
ls (ZAM-PECCERS),
which is founded on the basis of promoting friendliness, patriotism, cooperation and nationalism among the Zambian
youths; to unite efforts for more extensive rational thinking, innovativeness and creativeness endeavour; and
to further provide varied social, economic, and political activities in order to enhance civic skills, knowledge
and dispositions while striving to help discover the latent talents and leadership capabilities among the
young people in Zambia. The Organization's Vision is basically,
"To see the Zambian youth take a centre role in the development process of the nation." As ZAM-PECCERS, we feel it is time for Youths' history in the development cycle to be re-written as this would/ and will emancipate them fully and enable them to participate equally. With the above Vision, ZAM-PECCERS has the following as its critical OBJECTIVES, which can only be attained if all Youths Unite together and fight the disease, herein, "UNDERDEVELOPMENT OF YOUTHS"
The following are thus the objectives of the organization;
Provide leadership skills/ career guidance to young people through holding workshops and leadership seminars in
which only well trained individuals will be invited to give lectures on certain skills. Provide a network with the business world where we will be able to bring on board various
stakeholders to help on how best to go about a particular business venture. To promote democratic values and strengthen principles of good governance among citizens. Shall engage into different business ventures where skilled members of ZAM-PECCERS will be
given responsivities to supervise a business in line with their God given talents or profession. Shall engage in providing political education to youths by sensitizing them on political affairs such
as; importance of taking an active role in the political sphere; for instance, contesting political
positions, voting, and enhance a non-violent atmosphere. Engage into prison services by integrating the inmates into various skills that will enable them to be
productive and useful citizens to the community. Through this, we will endeavour to eliminate the
possible causes of crime and offer solutions. Another critical objective is that of helping shelter the Old Age (THOSE INCAPABLE) citizens of mother Zambia who have played a significant role in seeing Zambia through. Be a Part of the Revolution
