FAZ LUSAKA YOUTH LEAGUE – ZONE 26 | WEEK 3
It was a tough and exciting game against Casman Football Club.
We opened the scoring early, but our opponents equalised. We responded well, scored again and continued pushing to take a 3–1 lead.
Unfortunately, a few defensive mistakes allowed the home team to score two quick goals and turn the momentum around. We adjusted our formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 to strengthen our defence, but unfortunately things did not work out as planned. We conceded again, and the match ended 5–4 in favour of Casman Football Club.
Despite the result, we take the positives from the game. We have identified our mistakes, and we will work hard to correct them in training. I am very happy with the individual performances of my boys. There is clear improvement in each and every player, and that is encouraging.
Our U-12 boys also showed great character. Despite conceding, they dominated the game and finished strongly, securing a 3–2 victory.
We keep building, learning and improving together.
Thank you to all our supporters and, especially, the parents and guardians for your continued support. Your encouragement means a lot to the boys and to Platinum Sports Academy.
